I have to admit I have no idea what huckleberries or currants taste or smell like. So I don’t know how well this tea pulled them off. This definitely smells sweet and fruity and sort of like berry. Steeped, this is a fruity sweet tea. Still not sure if its a huckleberry taste, but it’s at least a good taste. The white tea is sort of overwhelmed by the fruity taste, but its still enjoyable. I’m gonna have to try this one iced and see how that is.

I love coconut, and I love green tea. So I knew this would be good. And it sure is! Kind of creamy and a vegetal, and very coconutty. I just want to make a giant pitcher of this and dive in. I finished my cup much too fast. I need to try it iced!

Made a big pitcher of this iced the other day, because I’m feeling like I need a detox. I wont be making that mistake again, cold, I tasted a licorice after taste that I didn’t notice before. Confused, because I don’t remember tasting that before. And sure enough, licorice root is one of the last ingredients. I don’t know if it’s because I cold steeped it overnight which gave the licorice root more time to infuse, or if its just more prominent cold. Either way, I drowned my cup real fast, and dumped the rest. I won’t be doing it like that again. I only have 3 bags left, which I’ll eventually drink because hot it just tastes cinnamon and spicy. But I won’t repurchase

Finished of the rest of this sample yesterday, iced and resteeped once, with a cup of cloud mist green tea as well, just to stretch the cup. I’m definitely sad to see this one go. I’m going on a cruise next week with my family, and we ship off from Miami, so I’m going to see if I can convince my dad to drive across the city to go to a tea shop either before leaving or after getting back. Here’s hoping!

I decided to just let the leaves of this hang out freely in the hot water this time, in order to give the leaves plenty of space to uncurl. Thankfully, it was really easy to scoop them out, and I think it was a success! This cup was even more delicious than the last. Sweet and nutty and vanilla-y, and sort of caramel-y. So good.

Like someone else mentioned, this smells like lemon pie. It smells good, but I wasn’t sure if it would taste like sucking on a sour lemon, or if it would taste sweet and lemony and fresh and creamy. Thankfully its the latter. There’s a nice subtle earthiness, that mixes with the creaminess and the lemon. This is quite pleasant, and, surprise surprise, I really want tot try it iced next.

drank Apricot Guayusa by Butiki Teas

This is my first guayusa and I’m liking what I see (taste)! Slightly grassy with a delicate apricot flavor. With a little added truvia, the apricot is more pronounced without being overwhelming. Quite yummy and fruity and fresh tasting. I really want to try this iced (I’ve been really into iced teas lately thanks to all of this Florida heat).
Thanks MissB for sending me a sample of this!

When I first took a sip of this, while still very hot, I wasn’t in love. There was some flavor there that I wasn’t digging. But once it cools off a bit, the cocoa notes really came through! This is so delicious, so smooth and lightly sweet and chocolaty and with a little bit of a caramel hint to it. Resteeping, even more cocoa notes, and slightly more sweeter. I loved the way the flavor slowly transforms, yet holds up after 3 resteeps. I need to see how many steeps I can get out of this one. And I’m kicking myself for only buying 20g! I need to get more!
