54 Tasting Notes
4g tea
12oz water
Dark amber color. Aromas of malt and sweet potato. Very sweet aroma. The taste was a bit less than than the aroma was leading on. Not as strong of the flavor malty sweet potatoe flavor that was lead on. Not bad though.

Light yellow steep.
Dry Leaves are long and rolled just a bit. They a great shade of green. There is a almost pine smooky aroma to this. The tea does not seem to have much of a body. It tastes like it smells though.
Preparation
12 oz water
4 g tea
30 second steep is what was rec’d on the card, so that’s what i did.
The dry leaves didn’t seem to have much aroma at all. The steep is light yellow in color. It has a slightly sweet aroma. It tastes a bit vegetal. But not really fresh. I don’t think i’m getting the complexities described in all the other reviews, or i’m just not that sensitive to the subtle flavors. This didn’t do it for me.
Preparation
12 oz water
4g tea
very light steep in color, just a tinge of yellow. Kind of has a woodsy aroma to it, very light. The flavor of the tea seemed stronger than the aroma. This tea seems to have some body to it, even though its light in color. It doesn’t feel like water. Can’t describe the flavor much on this one, but its good. Not even remotely bitter though.
Preparation
12 oz water
4g tea
Tea was tightly rolled and expanded nicely to full leaves. Leaves are fairly green and somewhat smooth. Steeps to a light yellow.
Aroma is light. I’ve smelled this before but can’t really pin down the aroma, maybe its “nutty.” Taste is light, not at all bitter, and subtle. This is a bit green in flavor too. Gonna start it a bit under the jade tie guan yin, from teaspring as well, in my rating and see how it goes from there.
