Omg. Why haven’t you told me. I mean you told me, but why didn’t you insist?!

Drinking at the salon with vanilla creamer. Hot tea under the dryer was a bad idea, but it is very yummy!

Ashley Bain

I always wonder why I accept hot coffee when I’m sitting under the hot dryer. But I drink it anyways, haha.

Slightly sour slightly sweet! I love it so much! Adding more honey!

Thanks Daisychubb, now send me those cookies you made with this!

Daisy Chubb

I would if I could, girlie. And they are diviiiine.

Erin Hurley

._. you aren’t helping my diet

Daisy Chubb

But the teas are! It’s ok I totally understand, I just started going to the gym regularly again and it feels great, but I have treats at home man! Thank goodness for tea, honestly haha

Erin Hurley

<.< I’m not helping my own diet

Daisy Chubb

Well, just be happy sista! You only live once my friend. So be happy and eat happy and have awesome people surrounding you and you’ll find happiness no matter what. I know you have the willpower to make whatever lifestyle changes you want to in your life, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with a snack or a yummy thing that is calling your name. My opinion may not be a popular one, but I believe a diet needs a little cheating here and there. Otherwise it’s way too easy to fall off the wagon completely. (only in my opinion of course, but enjoy life!) Hang in there doodle!

The Seattle Tea Snob

Wait are there cookies in tea swaps, I think I’m missing something quite wonderful!

Daisy Chubb

If I could send my tea cookies knowing they wouldn’t arrive as a box of crumbs, I would totally send them to you, and it would be quite wonderful! But I am so cheap, man I am I ever cheap. Sorry dudes! It’s an easy recipe though if that helps :D

The Seattle Tea Snob

I believe that my laziness probably rivals your cheapness, it is a conundrum indeed. Are they to little round cookies that have nuts in them and are covered in powdered sugar?

Daisy Chubb

Well speaking of lazy, I just made whipped shortbread with tea butter. So … 3 ingredients.. cheap AND lazy! heck yes.

I love white tea. Really love it. It’s my favesies, but I’m not rich enough to really stock up on a lot. Getting this Bai Mu Dan in the mail was terribly exciting! I really like this tea, but I can’t really taste the vanilla but the subtle cherry is nice. I wish the flavor was stronger. Compared to other whites I could take it or leave it :/

Ashley Bain

Bummer. I thought the taste was pretty strong! And really great with a touch of honey. How long did you let it steep?

Erin Hurley

40seconds-ish

Erin Hurley

I have another serving left. I’ll add honey next time :)

Ashley Bain

for this one you have to do like 4 minutes! trust me. try 4 minutes at 175.

Erin Hurley

Will do!!!

This is a very complex tea. On the top there’s a strong lemon flavor that I think is almost cleaner like and not entirely pleasant. Under that there’s a nutty spicy note that calms that astringent lemon flavor, and under that there’s a spicy creamy flavor that leaves a nice after taste.

It’s a very interesting tea and was fun to drink. I’m not sure I’d buy it, but if it was offered to me I’d surely have another cup! :)

Thanks DAISYCHUBB

Daisy Chubb

Yay! Yeah it’s a very unique tea, I find it kind of soapy when it’s hot – but if you cold brew it or try it iced it’s suuuuper good

Erin Hurley

I’ll move to Canada someday. Jerkus David’s. Don’t they know how much I want them in Seattle? Or even Portland?!

Daisy Chubb

Oh pls move to Canada! You can live with me :D! And we will have such adventures. A few of your limbs may freeze off if you live with me.. hmm.. well at least we’ll have some tea ^^

Ashley Bain

I’m coming to Canada, too. Make room.

Ashley Bain

We can find new ways to drink tea without limbs?

Erin Hurley

Straws. In. Everything!

nomadinjeopardy

Guys, Toronto is clearly the place to be. We’ll soon have 7 DTs. Come start a cool young people who drink tea group with me!

Daisy Chubb

Yes Toronto is much preferable to Regina. Mild winters yo!

nomadinjeopardy

I hope never to see weather that makes me think the winters here are mild! I’ve seen you mention super-hot and super-cold weather. The wildly fluctuating weather here kills me so I don’t want to know what it’s like there! Maybe we should take DT with us to a temperate little island.

Daisy Chubb

Yes temperate please! We’re thinking of moving to Halifax to get close to some water :) If you come visit here ever, just bring a winter coat. I feel sooo bad for the foreign exchange students from Japan and China who have no idea what winter is like. And then comes -44 and some are still wearing only a hoody. It’s scary.

Erin Hurley

I can’t go to Halifax…
