This was a surprising tea for me. As soon as I saw garam masala listed as the main “spice”, I either thought it could go really good or really, really bad. To me, it’s somewhere in between, mostly going on the good side.
Unlike DT Pumpkin Chai, this one came across as a little less “pumpkin-y” but still very autumn. It is very savory – I often drink this one in the morning rather than at night because of this. All in all, it’s a good alternative to pumpkin chai.
Like it, but not enough to restock.

How the story goes is that one day, a feeble, weakened graduate student decided to stop ingesting so much caffeine and additives (sugar, cream, milk) and instead headed for the land of tea.

I should probably mention that I’ve been drinking tea… pretty much since I can remember. The beauty of growing up in a still-semi-Euro family! I was introduced to green teas and pu’erhs by herbalists and acupuncturists in my teens.
