drank Honeydew Mate by DAVIDsTEA
7 tasting notes

This was a free sample from David’s and not one I would have bought – mate and melon are not my favourite tastes individually let alone together. However it was free….so nothing to lose. And what a pleasant surprise. This was light and breezy and thankfully lacked that earthy quality of mate. The melon comes through with just the right amount of sweetness and I enjoyed the aroma too. If I had more (and sadly I can’t get these teas delivered to the UK so only if I am sent them by friends can I drink Davids Tea) I would try it iced with a touch of fresh mint from the garden.

Love to be out in nature feeling the wind on my face and the sun on my back. Searching for the peace and holiness of each moment even when in the eye of a storm.
Tea is a healing remedy here in the UK – a practice learned from our grandmothers in early childhood. The mature woman loves the variety of expression in tea and the surprising and exhilarating new places that can be explored in the tea cup. Sometimes it is nice to come home and sit with a cup of a familiar old standard blend – the pacifier down the years.

Teaching healing yoga is one path, practising reflexology is another but tea is the universal path.
