Spice bomb! I love the tangy, slightly sweet, extremely spicy aftertaste of this one. It really does pack a punch of flavour. As a latte, it’s great, but the flavour is less strong this way. This would be a great pick-me-up kinda tea. It definitely has a nice bite.

One tea bag was enough for 3 steeps. It got lighter and lighter in taste and flavour of course, but as long as that slight apricot sweetness was there, I could honestly be drinking this all day.

Straight up, I didn’t like this tea. The aroma was there, the colour was there, but the taste wasn’t. It kinda just fell flat. I added a drop of almond milk in it, and what a difference it made. The milk brought out the apricot flavour in the tea, and I actually ended up LOVING this tea so much! It’s fruity, but not too fruity. It falls just before the point where flavoured black teas start tasting artificial, and that is what makes a great tea. Balance. I haven’t tried this cold yet, but I can imagine already that it would be wonderful iced.

Hm. I haven’t tried this with almond milk. I do love it cold, though.

I didn’t like this at all hot. But cold…wow…YUM! This is definitely always stored iced in my fridge for when I need my thirst quenched and water, well, let’s be real here, water tastes boring. :)

Oh by the way, the 2nd steep is more chicken soupy than the first. In case you were interested. :)

You know what this tastes like? It tastes like having a bowl of chicken and rice, and then pouring some chicken broth on top of it. This is the liquid version of chicken and rice soup! Sounds weird I know, but the nuttiness really gives off this chickeny flavour that it honestly feels like I’m sipping tonight’s supper. Perfect if you have savoury tooth, as I do get this gorgeous natural salty flavour (this is the part the reminds me of chicken broth) and since I’m a saltaholic irl, I give a big thumbs up to this Genmaicha for allowing me to satisfy my salt cravings simply by drinking this liquid supper. Definitely recommended if you have a savoury tooth.

The perfect dessert tea for me. Chocolate and hazelnut and no calories. I couldn’t be happier. A cheap alternative to this would definitely be Twinings – The de Ceylan (Scotland.) I think it may be discontinued but if you can’t get your hands on the beautiful Florence, try the Twinings version, which is basically also a chocolately hazelnut. And it’s less expensive. :D I have a 4 oz. tin of this and I doubt this will be sitting in my tea cupboard for very long. I’m officially in love with Harney teas!

Okay this is REALLY growing on me. Without milk or sweetener, I liked it but that was about it. No real WOW factor for me…until I added a drop of almond milk. Holey moley! What a difference! Instead of a watery blueberry flavoured juice, after the milk I really got this wonderful blueberry ice cream flavour that really made my mouth dance. Perfect for dessert after dinner. Yummmmm!

Just another tea fanatic looking to further expand my tea horizons and for some fun interaction with other tea fanatics.

I like most teas except for those with peppermint and licorice in them. My preference lies with all types of black and green teas.

My cupboard isn’t complete. I have tons of other flavours that aren’t in the database from special tea places in the Netherlands. Mostly dessert teas. :)

As you can tell, my tea loves lie mostly in Twinings and Harney & Sons teas. I have tried many other brands but I always keep going back to these. I guess after drinking for tea for so long, you learn what you like and what you don’t. I LOVE these two tea companies!
