8 Tasting Notes
Evening tea since it’s low in caffeine and I ate a bunch of junk today. Hoping this might settle my stomach a bit. I’m not really sure how to drink this tea so as to “optimize” the “skinny” aspect—after meals? Before? Whenever? I’m enjoying it but not sure it’s a fave.
Pretty mild and drinkable, even though there’s more orange zest flavor in this cup than I’d hoped (wanted more ginger!).
Flavors: Citrus, Orange Zest

Go #2. I’m getting more of the white chocolate coming through, which I like. Still not a lot, but I taste it. I really like that there’s virtually no aftertaste…my mouth feels clean after I’ve swallowed, whereas a lot of teas leave me thinking I really need to swish some water around or brush my teeth.

This is kind of an odd tea to me…can’t really decide if I like it. I chose it to drink tonight because my mind and body needed to relax after a long shift at work, and I’m not sure yet if it’s going to work for its intended purpose. If it does…awesome. I don’t dislike the flavor at all, but if I’m going to drink something minty, I’d probably prefer just plain peppermint tea.
The mint in this is very strong, as well as the lemongrass. Luckily the flavors mingle quite well, because the scent of the dry leaves is really overpowering.

Preparation
Early afternoon, it’s a little warm but I just received a box of tea in the mail and HAD to make a selection from one of those!! I always like some caffeine and I have to go to work later, so I pulled this out.
The smell of the tea in the bag and freshly-brewed is, frankly, a little off-putting. I get some odd grassy notes, and the definite hit of coffee in the background. But overall, it smells like….baked potatoes? Even a little buttery.
I can’t quite identify any flavors in the tea itself, but it’s good. I did add sugar, like usual, but not too much. Anyway, the baked potato odor is definitely not present in the flavor.
Anyway, I think next time I’ll try a little higher tea to water ratio. Though this is definitely pleasant…maybe I’m just thrown off since I’ve been drinking the really strong strawberry rhubarb parfait so much lately.
Preparation
Currently drinking before bed, though I’ve been drinking this (and Cinnaberry) nonstop for the past several days. You could say I’m addicted.
Anyway, the smell of the dry tea/“fruit infusion” is amazing…exactly like a strawberry rhubarb crumble my mom made last week. The brewed tea smells a little off, actually, almost artificial. And the tea tastes like a great combination of the two somehow. A little tart, just like rhubarb, but finishes nice and strawberry-sweet.
I think this would be really great iced, but I’m enjoying it warm too much to stray.
