10 Tasting Notes
Drank this last night. I wasn’t sure what I thought while drinking the first cup, but I resteeped, and the second cup was delicious. Got a total of 4 steepings, and probably could have gotten a 5th – 2nd & 3rd were definitely my favorites. I couldn’t imagine drinking this all day every day like I do green teas, but it is a very nice morning drink.
Preparation
A pretty tasty tea, but I am finding that a really prefer either straight teas or very mildly flavored teas, and this had too much other flavor to really become a favorite of mine. I’ll enjoy it, but these 2oz are probably going to last me quite a while since this couldn’t be a daily tea for me.
Preparation
Second steeping was much better than the first and had much stronger chocolate flavor. I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t really find any “heat” in this mix, as that was the primary reason that I ordered it.
Preparation
This is my go-to teabag tea. It’s not great, and I don’t enjoy it anywhere near as much as my loose leaf varieties, but it’s a decent tea for me to drink while I’m on the run at work and is also still decent when it’s cold, which is very helpful. I brew 34oz at a time w/ 2 tea bags in a Nalgene bottle 2-3 times per day.
Preparation
This tea was great for a first infusion – possibly even a little too fruity and sweet for my taste, but very good (would have been fantastic iced). I did not feel that it was very good on a second infusion though.
*edit: Just realized that the second infusion generally wouldn’t matter for iced tea…
