66 Tasting Notes
I think perhaps I have been a bit too harsh on this tea.
It’s the best one in my cabinet in my parent’s home—and I have a feeling I’ll be drinking this stuff a lot, considering the amount of work I have to do before I leave.
Now, back out to work on my igloo outside.
Good Morning, Chicagoland!
I must say, for a breakfast tea, this isn’t my favorite, but it’s delicious nonetheless with a touch of almond milk and stevia/sugar. It is certainly not an offensive tea!
Hopefully it gives me enough oomph to go get a palette pulled together so I can finally open the studio, three days late.
So, I’m sad to say I haven’t written nearly enough reviews of this tea, not enough to match up to the actual amount I drink it.
I make it pretty regularly. It had a good caffeine kick (at least, I think so) that keeps me awake during classes.
Today I made this tea for my Argentinian photographer friend in a handmade teapot thrown by my ceramicist boyfriend. We drank out of two identical mugs which matched the teapot. (A small teapot, for sure, holds about 2 1/2-3 cups of tea, but that’s usually just enough for a friend and I).
I used the leftover tea leaves to brew it again and again, as I’m working on a large-scale watercolor drawing/painting, and I needed something to keep me going.
Tried this last night, with a touch of almond milk and sugar.
Average in my book. Not enough spice for my taste (though let it be known, I drink rather spicy chais so if you’re into something a bit more mild, maybe this is what you’re looking for?)
A mother of my friend gave me this tea, plus a couple others from the Disney Wonderland series, and so far I’m a little underwhelmed with the taste of the teas. But, a tea gift is a tea gift, so I keep drinking them. :)
TeaEqualsBliss is right, if you’re not a vanilla freak than this is not your tea.
Sadly, I love everything and anything connected with vanilla.
This is an okay tea—I probably won’t own it again after this box, and I can think of many other teas that I would rather drink that are FULL of vanilla.
