Okay…so…the smell of this one reminds me of pineapple bubblegum. But the taste is good but different than I thought it would be. It has some pineapple but it almost tastes a little floral as well. So…it’s not really a tropical pineapple or sugary pineapple but an earthy or slightly floral pineapple. It’s really good tho!
CLEARANCE BOX TEA 2/20:
3rd 18oz bottle with dinner. Mom surprised me w/ Subway for dinner- buffalo chicken w/ pepper jack, light ranch, extra pickle, lettuce, and banana peppers on flat bread is awesome. Although they always look at me weird when I say I want it toasted at the end. Who would want cold condiments on a hot sandwhich?

CLEARANCE BOX 2/20:
Wow I’m the 1st to review this!:)
Made a gallon of this (7TB + 1tps tea steeped in 8oz just below boiling water, then added 120oz cold water) and am drinking my 1st 18oz.
The raw leaf smells very much like both apricot and black tea- Have no clue what brandy smells like.
The concentrate is a VERY DARK syrupy reddish black and the gallon of tea is a much lighter reddish brown. The aroma doesn’t change much in ratio, but it is a bit lighter in general.
Called that one. Tastes exactly like I’d expect… not sure what brandy tastes like so I can’t tell if it’s there or not. But the balance between the black tea base and the apricot is perfect. I’ve never known apricots to be an overly sweet fruit, but there’s definitely no need for sweetener in this.
Preparation
I grabbed this one randomly today out of the stash of Zoomdweebies teas that I’ve acquired from the clearance box mania!
YUM! This has a very nice lemon flavor that isn’t too tart, but fresh tasting, vibrant, and even sweet. The spices are not overwhelming, they seem to be just enough to accent the lemon without this becoming a spiced tea blend.
I like this very much.
Preparation
This one totally exceeded my expectations! The Apple is JUST RIGHT in this…and that’s hard to find with an APPLE Flavored Black Tea, at least imo, so far!
HA! I was wondering why there weren’t more tasting notes for the close out teas! I’ve been looking at http://steepster.com/companies/zoomdweebies-tea-bar/
I wonder how we could combine the two companies?
The scent is unmistakably pumpkin and it is especially evident in the dry leaf. The liquor still has the pumpkin aroma but when combined with the scent of the brewed black tea it smells a bit different…
The flavor is pumpkin-ish however it doesn’t taste authentic to me. Like artificial pumpkin flavor. It doesn’t taste bad, exactly… but, it isn’t the tastiest pumpkin tea I’ve encountered, either.
So I decided to get out the frother and turn this into a latte-treat, and it tastes so much better this way.
Preparation
Mmmmm…this tea is really hitting the spot this morning. A nice gentle way to wake up in the morning. This tea kind of eases you into the day. I think I will be drinking this tea a lot in future mornings!
Preparation
Must get this and then add chai spices to it. Or better yet, Frank should make a Mayan Chocolate spice mix!
Yeah sure send me a PM with your address – be forewarned it might take a while to get over to the post office – haha
The dry leaves smell like black tea with honey and the steeped tea smells like black tea with honey and the tea tastes like black tea with honey! It tastes very smooth and mildly sweet. I am not someone that sweetens my tea but hey I’ll take it if the honey is pre-added. Yum :)
This is very gently scented – but still pleasant.
When I took my first sip…I was thinking “YUM…but…this doesn’t taste like key lime!”
I continued to sip and noticed after it cools for a few minutes it starts tasting more and more like Lime…I’m assuming that this would be ever better iced and will have to try at some point.
This isn’t overly flavored but it sure is yummy!
Final 22oz of this tea for the day. I finished the last bottle w/ a corn tortilla pizza w/ taco sauce, green olives, pineapple, and home made salsa. I started this bottle w/ 2 containers of vanilla Fiber One yogurt. The latter is the better of the pairings by far. This would make an AMAZING frozen yogurt! Or maybe just a honey flavored black tea w/ fresh strawberries in the frozen yogurt.

FInally drank (am drinking) this today. Decided to take it w/ me to Prayer + Share this morning. 4/7 people tried it and about half the gallon is gone- but I took about 18oz myself. Everyone that tried it liked it and said sweetener was not needed. The strawberry and black tea are strong and the honey lends a hint of floral sweetness. I’m not a black tea person, but for what it is, it’s very good!
Preparation
Actually I really prefer blackberry, but not sure I’d like it mixed w/ honey… oooh… blackberry chocolate cheese cake!

Haven’t actually drank this, but I just made a gallon for tomorrow. I should have it about half gone 24 hours from now.
7TB plus 1tsp tea
8oz just below boiling water
120oz cold (refrigerated) water
The smell of the leaf is definitely of a strong strawberry, light black tea base, and even lighter (but still there) honey. Then again, I’ve never smelled honey lol.
WHOA! Was this concentrate DARK!!! I rarely make black tea and have never made such a strong concentrate so this knocked my socks off. Very dark, Very red. Aroma is just like the raw leaf. I’m almost temped to try it, but not quite that brave.
The tea is a MUCH lighter reddish brown. I can’t wait to try it tomorrow!:)
Preparation
I’m having one last cup of this before sending the rest to a friend.
So many teas…so little time! I know I flew thru a bunch of teas yesterday and I will again today, too! Stay tuned!
This is a nice even apple flavor with a bit of spice. It’s also creamy, too! I’m still missing that crusty kick but overall it’s a nice cup!
My first cup of the day – I had an appointment this morning and no time to enjoy a cup of tea before I left, so I’ve been in need of my caffeine fix.
This is nice. The lime flavor is sweet not tart. The black tea is brisk. I’m enjoying it, and betting this is quite lovely iced too.
Preparation
I’ve been wanting to try this and thanks to LiberTEAS I am sipping on it now! I am going to give this one many more tries but for my first attempt – here are my thoughts, my findings!
The scent before infuses is like a watermelon flavored ribbon candy…not as sweet as a watermelon flavored jelly ranger, however. YES! I do think there is a difference between the two! LOL – I think the Ribbon Candy has more of a Licorice type hint to it…not actually saying I can smell licorice but it isn’t as sweet or puckery as a Jolly Rancher. You know what I mean!?
Now…back to the Licorice…when I TASTE the tea there is a hint of what tastes LIKE licorice. This isn’t a puckery watermelon more of a watermelon spice or watermelon licorice type taste. Maybe that’s where I am getting with the Watermelon Ribbon Candy VS The Watermelon Jolly Rancher. Ok…confused!? LOL – like I said…this week is kicking me in the ass so here’s hoping this all makes sense to someone! LOL
I did infuse more loose leaf than I probably should have – that is why I said I am going to try this several times.
I think I was hoping for more puckery watermelon and less licorice or spice or whatever…yeah…I was looking for puckery…like Watermelon Pucker (alcoholic beverage) or Watermelon Jolly Rancher-esque…ya know!?
I wasn’t disappointed but maybe left a little wanting based on my specific craving at the moment…if that makes sense.
Thanks LiberTEAS!!!!
:P
2 cups this morning…HOT and COLD.
First HOT…this isn’t as LOUD as I thought it would be with the flavoring. It’s nice and sweet and fruity, tho and it’s delightful!
I prefer this one cold, actually, not sure why, but I do, it’s perfect cold! Just the right amount of sweetness and fruit. Maybe it makes it even sweeter being cold!? Not sure but it’s darn good!!!
HOT I would say 75 for a rating. COLD I will bump it up to an 85!
I was in the mood for something citrus-y this morning so I figured I would give this tea a try. It has lots of pieces of what I think are lemon peel in it. However my cup mostly tasted like a standard black tea with a hint of lemon. It was good it just didn’t scream lemon meringue. I want to try this back to back with the lemon tea I have to see if I can taste the difference.
