Grimoire Countdown- Day 1
As much as I love the name and inspiration, I do not love this tea. Not at all. It has the terrible artificial chocolate flavor so many “chocolate” flavored blends fall victim to. Couldn’t get past 1 sip, so I will refrain from giving it a numerical rating.
Absurdity Day tea #2. I wasn’t aware that Death Eaters were minty, I’d probably put chicory, clove or shu puerh in such a named blend.
I only have a sample of this minty tea, so it’s a first cup and a sipdown. Thanks Shae for sending it my way.
The peppermint and the spearmint blend well together, but I can’t really taste the underlying black tea base. The second steep is smoother and muted, but still tasty. A yummy cup, and I’ll need to experiment with my own blend of black and mint teas.

I guess 52teas graveyard mist is minty, and I feel like that works really well, so when you said this one was minty, I was sort of like yep death is minty. I definitely think the flavors you mentioned would work too!
I remember really liking this one. I don’t have any in my cupboard after a quick check, so I must have finished most of it before sending you the rest. Looks like Grimoire Tea only does occasional restocks, so I’m not sure if/when it will be available again but I’d probably buy some if I ever had the chance.
Day 11 of our Advent Tea Swap. From amandastory516.
I’m loving these minty black teas that Amanda sent in her Advent box. This one is really good, though it is different than the Chocolate Mint from Harney & Sons that I had a few days ago. I might try two teaspoons next time just to bump up the richness.

A sad sipdown. :(
This is my late (again) entry for National Unicorn Day. This blend not only has a magical name, it also tastes pretty magical (to me, at least). It may be my favorite herbal to date. A gift from amandastory516 for Advent 2019, I have hoarded the last little teaspoon and a half since then. There’s just something about it I can’t place. It’s definitely minty. Spearmint, I think? But there is something else that makes it a little extra. Maybe some of the fruit pieces? There were definitely some little cubes in the dry blend, but I don’t have a clue what they are. It’s just really unique but also familiar at the same time.
I’ll be repurchasing when this comes available again, though I don’t know when that might be. The Grimoire Tea website only has gift cards available at the moment, no teas, so I’ll have to keep an eye out for a restock.

Day 4 of our Advent Tea Swap. From amandastory516.
I’m falling a little behind on my Advent teas. Just having Day 4 today. I was planning on drinking this last night after work since it is an herbal, but I was so tired that I went right to bed after dinner.
Even though there are plenty of ingredients in this tea, the primary aroma is mint. I like mint, but mint teas feel pretty basic to me generally so I thought I might drink this one without much to say. Oh wow, I was wrong. This may be the best herbal I’ve ever had. I’m not a huge fan of herbal blends, but this is one I want to keep on hand forever and ever. I’m not sure what makes it so special exactly, but there is a certain depth of flavor to it that has me hooked.

Summer of 2017. That is when Game of Throne fans have to wait until the next season. If only you could have heard me wailing when the last season’s final episode aired. . . Game of Thrones is one of those shows that either you are 100% in love with are not at all. I have yet to find a so-so fan. This show is one of the first ones that my hubby and I started to binge on when we first started dating. If you know the show, you can only imagine how uncomfortable that was for us, but we became addicted to the show first episode in. Anyway, let’s chat about this tea-a GoT fandomtea-Drogon from Grimoire Tea.
