I really like this, it is a great rescuer for after lunch sleepiness.

This is okay. The flavors seem a little weird, but they work together.

This tastes better than I’d anticipated, and mostly is dominated by the lemon myrtle, spearmint, and light cinnamon flavours. Nothing overpowering about any aspect of this tea, which was quite nice. I wanted to try to drink it this morning instead of my usual boring coffee, and while for the most part it was ideal- but almost felt too healthy! Not that that’s necessarily a bad thing….just that I have to work on my vices. :)

A small shot of caffeine before and an iced herbal after has become a workout routine for me. I decided to try this one because what guy doesn’t want to feel like Zeus after a hard workout?

Out of the package, there’s a strong fragrance of ginger and cinnamon and a slight citrusy note. Before it even brewed, this just seemed like it was going to be “hot.”

Once prepared, you have a bright yellow liquid (it’s almost fluorescent) that continues to smell strongly of ginger. In flavor, this proved to be much more mellow than expected. The chicory and mate help tame this down a bit, but the aftertaste is warm.

The proportion of spice to herb must be fairly high because this really does result in quite a zesty concoction. I brewed some double strength and put it over ice and it was a great pick-me-up. Now I just need a reason to throw lightning bolts to give it a full test.

A Steepster Traveling Teabox Tea!

I can only have so much caffeine per day, and adore chai so I was excited by this tea. The smell was very potent and promising, but the cup turned out OK, it was a solid red with some spice to it, but I prefer chai with a bit more spice/kick.

I drink tea twice a day, and then got pregnant and worried about some of the unusual herbs in what I normally drink and wanted to go totally caffeine free. That’s how I discovered Rooibos Red Spice. It’s a versatile tea that I enjoy both for breakfast and at bedtime. I love that the spices are mild and there’s no licorice, which ruins most spice teas for me. It’s a nice deep color that makes me not miss my English Breakfast tea.

I wasn’t fond of this smell but the Rooibos blend ended up being semi-enjoyable…surprisingly…

It says Full Bodied and Robust with warm spice…I don’t think it was full-bodied/robust but it was sweet and juicy with a little bit of spice…not over the top – which is good, in my book, to not over do it with the spice esp with a rooibos.

It’s ‘ok’

I got this at Whole Foods, they mix concentrated tea with sparkling water. I’m not a fan of carbonation, except in my champagne and beer, so I wasn’t sure about this. But really, it’s good, sweet of course, not quite like juice, but close. And the bubbles weren’t bad. Didn’t taste a lot of green tea, but the citrus and the mint went together nicely, and I think I detected maybe a hint of ginger, because there was a little bit of a zing in it. Next time I’m there, I’m going to try the Sparkling Berry White Tea flavor.

Not bad, but it seems like it has too much going on. Here are the ingredients: red clover, peppermint, green tea, eleuthero, alfalfa, cranberry flavor, nettle leaf, and lemon flavor. The peppermint is overpowers just about everything else.

Not the best pomegranate green I’ve had, but it holds up in the middle of the pack.

Astringent flavor without a sweetener, but once I added some turbinado – a fruity taste is evident. Definitely a good way to start a purposeful day.
