Ordered a bunch of 95c two-cup samplers from the Adore Tea website. It’s really bugging me that there is definitely not enough tea leaves in each sampler for two cups. In this pack, there was hardly a teaspoon of leaves. So frustrating because when they used to have a physical store in my state, the sampler packs actually were two cups’ worth. Will have to call them up about that.

They also sent me a few that were past the best before date. This one was best before February 2014. Some of those were alright but this one tastes awful.

Chemical and bitter, like what you’d taste if you accidentally sprayed a bottle of perfume in your mouth.

Adore Tea stocks some really good teas so I don’t know what the heck this was.

Preparation
Boiling 3 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 8 OZ / 250 ML

Bio

Australian tea drinker from Sydney.

I enjoy all kinds of tea except rooibos. Black and roasted oolongs are my true lovers while green tea makes me a little dizzy. Pu-erh I have yet to explore, despite being gifted several cakes. On the look-out for a great herbal tea and also getting the matcha madness.

Have yet to add everything to my Steepster cupboard, but would be interested in an Australian tea swap in the future!

The variety here is not as extensive as other places due to import regulations and the cost of shipping but I own and like stuff from Harney & Sons, Lupicia, T2, Teavivre, Butiki, Mariage Freres, Verdant, Yunnan Sourcing and Whispering Pines Tea Company.
