36 Tasting Notes
Another Indian market find… there are very little negative things to say about this tea (besides the fact I keep running out of it!)
I typically don’t like rooibos, find it too rough for my taste. But this rooibos has some extra spices (hibiscus, orange rind, cinnamon, hint of caramel) and it really does the trick.
It almost tastes like honey! Very smooth and sweet without any additional sweeteners. I can drink this tea at any time of the day.
Preparation
I visit the Indian quarter of Paris often as I live just around the corner and saw this box in about every market I’ve been to.
It’s a pretty decent spiced tea. I always leave the tea bag in my mug until all the tea is gone (I like spicy tea!) It’s nice because you can even add a bit more hot water after you finish the first cup.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t get spicy enough for my taste to really enjoy it with milk. But that doesn’t mean you won’t like it avec lait!
