I smelled the tea at the boutique and remembered it to be a lot more sweet rather than spicy when I opened my bag… but maybe that’s because it was sealed up? Or maybe I’m crazy.

But anyway, I was a little worried at first that there would be a mystery icky flavor but was immediately relieved of that stress when I took my first sip.

Lovely, absolutely lovely. It’s spicy enough to really warm you through but the apple keeps it smooth on the throat and heart. I don’t really taste the almond, but I can kind of feel the texture a bit.

I really enjoy this tea. I’m excited to keep drinking it throughout the fall and winter!

So today I went on a little hunt around town for the Caramel blend by Kusmi (saves on shipping ;)… but sadly neither of the two stores I went to had it! I’m going to have to wait for Christmas or make the trek to the Champs (which is never something I do for fun because frankly, it’s tourist hell…) So instead I decided to go for the St Petersburg.

I always get a bit anxious when trying blends. This is probably because my past consists of way too many cups of cheap tea blends brewed for too long (eugh). But I’m happy to say that I’m quite impressed by this blend!

I love how smooth it is. One can definitely feel (and taste) the caramel. It’s in that beautiful little bubble right before you get to sweet so it can be enjoyed at any time of day. It smells absolutely amazing as well! I’d like to try to bake with this… hehe.

I am quite happy about this addition to my cupboard!

I got this tea as a “hand-me-down” from a friend who recently moved to California (I’m in France). I am so happy she gave me it!

This is a really tasty, smooth green tea that lasts forever. I make my little pot and refill and refill and refill… never ending. Perfect for a lazy day.

I really need to go hunting for another bag (no idea where she bought it, maybe in Chinatown…) because I’m almost out!

It makes a nice cuppa for the morning. Fairly bold and can get bitter so I normally steep for a max of 1 minute. Dunno what else to say really… it’s a fine tea.

Was looking for a nice chai last winter and tried this.

At first I was like ___ but then I was like :D

Not the biggest fan of licorice or anise, but grew to like it. Definitely warms me up.
