Such a good summer wake me up cup. I find I still drink hot tea for most of the nmorning as long as it isn’t too humid, or one of those days where it is 75 by 9am. Something about it is soothing to me. I enjoyed the fruity/nutty mix in this a lot, and love how this brand doesn’t underflavor the flavored teas.

I really enjoy the pine in this – it is definitely creamy and grassy with the green tea, and very aromatic when it is warm and refreshing as the cup cools down. I am really glad I got the chance to try, pine needles aren’t exactly a common ingredient in tea. Resteeps nicely too.

When I was home visiting my parents, I went to this place, which was new to me. I got three teas, this being the first I’ve tried, and despite preferring to sell in two ounce amounts they sold in one ounce when I asked. I assured them there was no risk of me not buying more at a later time, as I am moving home in a month or so. Something I am not very happy about, but no other strong leads for contract jobs have come up, and at least subbing while living at home will let me save a little money.

Anyhow, I will absolutely be back because this tea is RIDICULOUSLY amazing. It actually tastes exactly like a coffeecake, with the baked taste being equal to apple and cinnamon, with absolutely no sugar or milk added. It looks like the website will eventually offer online ordering, but until then, this is one of the best flavored teas I have ever had. I can’t wait to try more. Bonus, compared to the other tea store in Frederick, this one seems a bit cheaper and more nicely organized, and there is a place to enjoy a cup or pot upstairs. Price was right also. Winning all around.

I cold steeped this, as I do most all of my blacks, but it isn’t my favorite. It is flavorful, but I get a fairly prominent “soap” note that I usually only find with bergamot in earl grey. Others will like this for sure.

I really enjoyed this. I always steep my greens pretty low temp, so it wasn’t bitter at all and the strawberry had time to take center stage. With a little sweetener, this makes a good iced tea.

I am really enjoying my new foray int4o mate. I had no idea it made such a great iced tea, which is what I did with this. Fruity and fresh, it goes well with a bit of sweetener.

I adore melon. Green rooibos is perfect for this because it gives it a freshness. I prefer this iced, with a bit of sweetener. Not much more to even say.

This was pretty good, considering I dislike artificial banana flavored things. But the flavor could be too mild for some.

Tasty as an iced tea, but I really couldn’t taste much mint, and I think more mint to help rival the berry and hibiscus flavors would really make this blend stand out.

This is very chocolatey, and the richness of the puerh does give it a more dark chocolate vibe without being bitter or lacking any creaminess. I am normally not super into chocolate teas (as I usually then just wish I had the real thing) but I was pretty pleased with this, and how it retained some flavor as I resteeped.

Now a certified teacher, beginning my first year in third grade this fall. I have been involved in the tea world about 5 years now. In that time, I have learned so much, and am hoping to learn even more by joining the steepster community.

In my non-tea times, I am usually watching netflix while writing lesson plans, cuddling my two kitties, or trying to find new things to do in a town that is sometimes a bit limited!
