Resteeped leaves from the day before…
So, yesterday I couldn’t really find the strawberry in the oolong via the traditional (hot) brew method. Using the leaves from that attempt, I iced them down in the fridge for about 24 hours. I’m still getting a strong buttery oolong base. There is some sweetness, but I’d be hard pressed to say its strawberry. Who knows – maybe I damaged the delicate tastebuds I had years ago with my coffee-drinking, hard-partying days of yore. No matter, the base is still really, really good!
