A beautiful lounge in a beautiful location. This location was meant for sharing with friends. Not many sit-down choices for solo imbibers. Lots of lovely dark wood and red cushions. If only the outside had some heating lamps then it would be perfect!
Nice, attentive service with friendly smiling faces. The bread pudding with melted chocolate chips was delicious!! A wonderful choice to enjoy with their stunning Russian Blend tea.
Nice, relaxing space. Loved the wood plank window counters!
Although I liked the music——atmospheric drum and bass mixed with clubby world music bhangra beats—I thought it was a bit loud and kind of distracting (for a tea haven in the middle of the afternoon).
Excellent service—attentive and smiley.
I thoroughly enjoyed my portobello and melted gruyere sandwich. I also had the fudge brownie with matcha mousse—the mousse was delicious but the brownie was dry and crumbly! :(
The Palace Puerh tea was pretty good. Served in such a cute trio of tea accoutrements on a little bamboo tray.
Overall, a good place to while away the afternoon. I did not feel rushed at all. It was a good 3 & 1/2 hours spent!
This is a tiny little place—it’s cute! I stopped by around 5:45pm today solely on a mission to buy their Bogart tea. The guy behind the counter (I think he was the owner) seemed friendly enough but busy. I wish there were flavor descriptions of the various teas for sale, on the counter to read—that way I wouldn’t have to bother anyone with questions.
Besides the Bogart tea, I bought some shortbread, madelines and a chocolate chip scone (all homemade!) and it was all delicious. They even let me buy some of the lavender they use for their blends. I’m going to mix it in with some Earl Grey I already have.
I’m glad this little place is so close by.
