Green vegetal aroma. Roasted courgette note on the sip which blooms into a sweet floral note. Grapefruit-like aftertaste near the back of the tongue. Medium mouth-feel. As the tea is cooling and I am able to drink it more quickly, I am getting a sticky sweet note near the aftertaste.
Flavors: Floral, Zucchini
Preparation
Strong smoked salmon smokey note in the aroma, which I have found to be characteristic of all the Dalreoch teas I have sampled thus far. The smokey note in the aroma is very well captured in the actual flavour of the tea.
The smokey note does not combine well with the sweetness of the rose petal. The tea flavour itself seems mild and dull. Overall, I feel that the major flavours are not well-balanced. Mouthfeel is moderate-thin.
