1113 Tasting Notes
I had a tea party and somebody had opened a new tin of this and I thought to myself, “dangit… I really wish someone didn’t bring cinnamon tea let alone a bagged tea”. However, I was surprised by how sweet and tasty this tea was. It’s not a cinnamon spice flavor but rather it is a cinnamon candy flavor and I find it very enjoyable, but cinnamon is still not my kind of flavor in a tea.
I drank a few pots of this tea and found it to have a sweetness but not a distinct pear taste which was a little disappointing. It’s a nice white tea for a warm day with sweet notes that are low key but identifiable. This tea just misses a nice taste of ‘I just bit into a pear’
Preparation
This was a gift tea to me from a friend and I was excited because mate tea was still new to me. The chai overrides the mate taste which seems about right by just looking at the tea. It’s a nice chai but I would like the proportions to be adjusted a bit.
Preparation
Teas etc makes a fancy green earl grey, I really like colors that the flowers provide. The taste is rather mild but that is expected when compared to say a black earl grey. Overall I am pleased with this tea because it’s sweet while keeping a smooth bergamot taste.
Preparation
Very subtle tea with a wonderful dry pear taste that is expected of a pear fruit. I enjoy the mellowness and this teas ability to mix with other teas. It may be weak and somewhat dry but I enjoy this as a spring or winter tea when I’m in need of something mellow with a fruity kick.
Preparation
Hands down the best smelling tea I have ever had. The taste is a nice rooibos taste with chocolate notes that compliment every aspect. The smell contributes much of the taste of this tea and I am completely okay with that. This is a hot tea only though and of course a desert tea. I have used this at many tea parties to end sweetly with only compliments.
Preparation
This tea is absolutely amazing but the way that it was created has left it with a short life span and because of that it loses a lot of its score. After only two months this tea dried out in a way I have yet to experience in tea- this changed the flavor to almost a dusty taste which was never the case because the caramel and cream notes made it very relaxing and moist as if it was a baked oolong cake melted into a liquid.
