10 Tasting Notes
I had this earlier. It tasted fine by me. I really enjoyed the juniper. It tastes exactly as a medicinal, herbal, tea would taste like, but maybe a little too light (which threw me off guard). Then again, I will try steeping it longer. I was just apprehensive to steep it more than 3 minutes because of the green tea, but I think there is enough rooibos to mask any extreme bitterness. OH! Also I actually did appreciate how underplayed the lemongrass was, because sometimes I just hate lemongrass.
Preparation
Okay, okay. Something sweet. It’s not very aggressive though, and I kind of want that (maybe it’s because I only steeped it for 3 minutes). All I’m getting is this maple flavor, not much of a scent.
I feel like it could be better, and I will give it more chances.
Flavors: Caramel, Maple, Maple Syrup

I had this in the morning today. I keep making the mistake of trying teas for the first time in my metal thermos thing. I don’t know why but I swear they don’t taste as good. However, it was still good! It was black without being gross, and fruity without being too tart or sweet. I really enjoyed it. Really reminded me of fresh jam (huh, I wonder why?). Fruitiness, again, was light, but I really dig that.
UPDATE: I had the other half of my sample, this time in a mug. So much better!! It is like a hug. The black tea is barely barely bitter, and is pleasant. Love the comfy blueberry flavor.
Flavors: Berry, Blueberry, Fruity, Honey

Well, it’s not DAVIDsTEA’s most popular (or close) for nothing. Forever Nuts is straight up delicious. Iced, hot, it is a sweet treat and magic trick in one. I love watching it magically turn pink as it pours out of my steeper and collects all of the red pigment that settles at the bottom.
Flavors: Almond, Honey, Nuts, Sweet, Walnut
Preparation
This is a good tea. I am not a super huge fan of it (I have no idea why), but the flavor is fantastic. I don’t have much to say about it other than its good and sweet, not too tart.
Flavors: Apple

Ahh, my first tea at a brick-and-mortar DAVIDsTEA. I loved this. It has the wonderful bergamont hint like any good earl grey, but instead of being the prominent flavor, it hides in the back to remind you that this is the EARL’s Valentine. The chocolate and roses are just divine. It felt like such a treat, I wish I had more money to buy a full sized tin, rather than the little heart-shaped tin (which is pretty sweet on its own).
Flavors: Bergamot, Chocolate, Rose
Preparation
First time I had this was in the 24 Days of Tea. Steeped for a full 7 minutes and had to choke it down. Second time I had this was out of the Tea Chest. I followed directions for 4 minutes and still was not satisfied. It tasted bland and boring and again I choked it down, but it may have also been because of the metal thermos I drank out of that it was gross. Finally, at 3 minutes in a nice plain mug I like it.
It’s good though. Light, sweet, vaguely coconut, nice grounding oolong flavor.
Flavors: Coconut, Cream, Sweet
Preparation
I like this tea. I will drink this tea. I probably will not actively buy this tea again. The most I can appreciate is how it is different. It’s sweet and pepperminty, a common flavor, but there is something about it that is different. Perhaps that is why I don’t like it. There is a bitterness or something. At first I thought it was oversteeped green tea, but there isn’t any green tea!
I would still recommend this to try, at the least.
Flavors: Chocolate, Peppermint
Preparation
I’ve had this both hot and as a homemade tea pop, both from sample packets, and let me tell you I cannot wait to order a whole tin!
Not your average fruit flavor. I suppose goji isn’t for everyone, but I think it’s delicious and it has just the right sweetness. Tropical without overdoing it. Fruity without being tart. I’m in love.
Flavors: Fruity, Goji, Tropical
