206 Tasting Notes
My Bluebird Tea Co. order finally came in!!!!! And I brewed this up this morning. I have to say I was very intrigued by this tea, hence why I ordered it. The second steep was better than the first. You can definitely taste the aroma of the rose buds if you have ever had rose tea before but I love the pairing with the cocoa. The lemongrass is a good base for the tea, very subtle… I did not taste he note of raspberry that say are blended in. But other than that i like this blend and can’t wait to try my other bag from them along with the 3 samples they sent:)
Yet another cold brew of the day! Got this in my 5 for $5 from verdant a whole back and I am a HUGE jasmine tea lover… So of course I loved this one! I really liked it iced. I was super unsure of wether to ice it or not but it was a success. Very fragrant and very strong just how I like it:)
This is a great white tea so if you love jasmine like I do… I dare you to try this! You will be hooked!
Once again did this as an over night cold brew and it was absolutely delicious at lunch. Just plain and simple honey dew flavor! I am not a fan of the actual honey dew melon but for some reason love honey see flavored things. Weird I know but I highly recommend this as a summer iced tea pick up! You will not be let down.
This mornings cup was yummy!!! First time trying this from another swap:) It’s definitely a sweet brew. I loved the brandy and apricot mixture, I did get little after tastes of the brown sugar but not much. Mostly the brandy stood out but I loved it! The only thing I didn’t like so much was that the resteep was soooooooooooo weak:/ it was definitely good while it lasted:) another successful swap:)
I have to say I was very nervous to try this tea after very wishy washy reviews so I iced it for work. I’ve been trying to do a hot tea in the morning and an over night bold brew for the next afternoon for work. So 2 teas a day to lighten my load. Anyways this tea was very fragrant in its dry form. But surprisingly when I iced it it lost the overwhelming floral smell but the taste is lovely! I really like this iced, it is super refreshing, you definitely can taste the rose and I love the green paired with it. I believe that it is more suitable than a black tea with rose. I definitely give this the thumbs up, but I also love floral teas… It’s a really cool tea:)

I’m pretty sure I found my new favorite tea. All thanks to CK with this sample! Too bad I have no idea where I can get it or even if I can. Most likely not:/ its such a comforting tea. You can definitely taste the hints of hazelnut and cocoa. its not a very sweet tea on its own but I love it. Its just perfect. Its like a much needed hug after a super stressful frustrating day. Its like a tub of ice cream when you are down. I love love love it and I wish I could buy a huge bag of it:/ highly regiment it if you can get your hands on it. And if you manage to. Please please let me know.
I was hesitant to taste this one because I’m not a huge caramel or toffee person. But I really enjoyed it. It was a good black tea to start off my morning. The caramel toffee was almost an after taste which I really enjoyed. Another successful sample tested:) almost finished with all my samples from my mystery swaps from June.
I did a cold brew of this last night and I love it! Once again…another DAVIDsTEA that tastes just like it smells. It tastes just like a creamy lime gelato if you have ever had lime gelato. I cut up a few lime slices and threw it in a glass with some ice and the tea was just perfect especially for a nice summer day like today. If you haven’t tried this yet you should!
I was disappointed with this tea. Not entirely because it was still drinkable. I tasted the black tea mostly and some of the chocolate but the orange bits actually came off tasting like blueberry to me. It wasnt bad but i wouldn’t bother to buy it. Ill finish my sample of course though. Overall it was an okay tea. Nothing quite special like I was hoping. Thank you for this sample from my swap though!
I got this in a swap but I can’t remember from whom as I recently just moved and everything kind of got jumbled up. Anyways whomever it was, thank you so much! I loved it. I brewed it up this morning and took it along with me to my chocolate class… and how perfect it was, tasted just like mint chip ice cream. The mint was not as strong as I thought it might be. It was actually quite creamy and I loved it. Will definitely put this on my shopping list for future purchases. Or maybe even a first purchase from adiago. :)
