I woke up to a solid inch of snow on the ground, and it’s still coming down quite nicely. I probably should go out and get a few errands done, but people in my town can’t drive in less-than-ideal weather conditions, so I’ll be hunkering down with old movies and tea. After all, it is the perfect day for it!

Geoffrey sent me some of this to try…can’t believe I’m just now getting to it. This is a great Earl blend! It’s lighter on the bergamot than I expected, which is great because it really lets the lemongrass and citrus come through. The base tea still shines in this as well. Everything blends together very well; no one flavor comes to the fore. I think I’ll try it at 5 minutes next time, though, to see if the bergamot gets stronger.

Thanks, Geoffrey! It’s yummy!

Bio

My love of tea started in 2001, whilst in an internship in London, England. I shared an office with a lovely man who would make me a cup of tea every morning without asking me if I even wanted it. I drink my tea neat now, because I’ve yet to find the sugar/milk combination that lives up to Pablo’s.

I drink any and all kinds of tea, and love trying new brands/varieties/flavors.
