8 Tasting Notes

Brewed this gong fu style. I have to say I really enjoyed this one. It was very floral and fruity, and with notes of raspberry on the nose. Smell of the tea is very refreshing, and bright. Not gonna leave a long review, just wanted to say a little about it since I think it deserves a few words!

GONG FU
I never really drink Japanese green teas, because I find steamed green teas to be too vegetal for me. But when I heard about roasted Japanese green tea, I knew I had to try it. And I loved it, the smell of dry leaves really reminds me of genmaicha, but a bit nuttier. The liqour is smooth and deep, with beautiful nutty and salty quality to it. On few infusions I got notes of Salted Caramel which I really enjoyed. All in all a very enjoyable tea!

(GONG FU)
This tea, or chenpi puer in general, is something I would definetely reccomend to people who want to explore more flavours but don’t want to get into the blended or flavoured tea category.
Nice citrusy aroma, with a deep and complex flavour. Something to really enjoy.
Very interesting tea to drink, that makes you wonder and question your taste buds.
