30 Tasting Notes
I was in the mood for something fresh and citrus-y this morning, and this fits the bill nicely. The base is a lovely tea without the harsh qualities often used in flavored blends, and the peels give it just the perfect amount of sweet-tart sensation and aroma. Very nice blend.
Preparation
I’m pretty picky about flavored teas, but this one is pretty good. The base tea isn’t terribly interesting (probably a Ceylon tea, which I’m never fond of), but such is the reality of many flavored teas. I drink this straight, no milk or sugar, and enjoy it for the sweet almond cookie flavor (which is light, but rather tasty).
Preparation
This is my hubby’s favorite, and one of the few black teas I have left in my cupboard (need to re-order!). It’s a good wake-up tea, but a little light on flavor. I should probably use double the leaf, but always forget.
On a side note…as I’m still learning the “steepster way” – I’m not sure whether these tasting notes are for “what I’m drinking now” logs, or just for review of the tea? Anyone care to educate me? :-)
