I have been trying my hand at Earl Grey lately and once I saw a green Earl Grey I was curious. The aroma of the dry leaves is very sharp and inviting. It has a fresh bergamot scent. The steeped leaves give off a ‘fruity pebble’ aroma, which I found amusing. The brew itself is a light Earl Grey. It has the same flavor profile only its vegetal. I am definitely adding this to my Earl Grey list.

Flavors: Bergamot, Fruity, Grass

Tea Rating System:
I rate my teas based on the category they fall into (Puer, Red, Oolong, Darjeeing, Flushes, Yancha… etc.)
This means that I will rate a Oolong based on how it stands up as a quality Oolong. I try not to compare teas, rather I work to evaluate them on their craftsmanship, harvest, processing, and qi.

I am most strict with Shou and Sheng Puerh, only because of the vast expanse of various experiences, such as; region, vintage, production, processing, etc.
