219 Tasting Notes
Soooo glad I purchased this tea. It is everything I had hoped for. I love the blend of ginger and vanilla with a light note of coconut. Now I really want some Thai coconut curry noodle soup. Too bad I don’t have any curry paste or coconut milk right now. Time to go grocery shopping.
Yeah, this is the same tea as Bangkok. They used to sell it bagged under that name too (I have a pile of empty tins!) but for mass market appeal they changed it.
gmathis, here’s the recipe: http://chefmichaelsmith.com/recipe/thai-coconut-curry-soup/. It is so delicious. I leave off the fish sauce and lemongrass.
Good to know that Bangkok is the same. I figured it was.
Sipdown + Avengers = Great way to spend a Monday night.
I can’t get enough Jeremy Renner. I may love him more after watching him sing on Saturday Night Live http://vimeo.com/53767360 :)
Just realized that it has been a long time since I’ve had a rooibos tea in the evening. Tonight’s the night :)
This tea is so delicious. Creamy lemon yum. My favorite way to drink rooibos is with milk and honey.
Catching up on Tivo from the week and enjoying a good cuppa. Great way to finish the weekend :)
Spicy sweet sipdown. My only sipdown for this Saturday since it was such a busy day.
Spicy vanilla deliciousness. Sadly, I can’t taste the ginger because the cinnamon overtakes it. This tea is quite sweet without adding any sweeteners. I may add a bit of milk to make it more decadent. I could use that this evening. Feeling quite exhausted. Is 8 pm too early to go to sleep?!?
