I’ve been hitting duds lately when it comes to drinking black tea, hence why I have been adding a ton of green tea tasting notes. I found this sitting in my cupboard and thought of steeping it. I received this as a sample in the last Lupicia newsletter and I’ve never tried it before. This tea is very light with a subtle taste of strawberry. I’m considering of giving black teas another chance after tasting this one. I can’t go wrong with Lupicia, they’re flavors are usually spot on and delicate. Just stay away from the teas on sale, those tend to be a little funky.
PSA: Don’t try with milk, it’s pretty gross.

I’ve been really curious about this one, I think I might try it out next time around – I love Lupicia’s light, clear approach to black teas.
And have you tried their Cookie? I know you like Butiki’s Caramel Vanilla Assam, so you and Cookie should really get along.
I’m SO excited about your tasting note now, although I worry I might have raised your expectations too much.
Mmm, just the smell of it. I could live in my tin.

Funny you mention that because today a sample of Cookie just came in the mail!

I’ve been wanting to try it since I received an email on how to make a tea au lait with Cookie.
I haven’t tried it with milk, but I’m pretty sure it would be completely ridiculous. Also thinking iced milk tea for summer.
