Eh, this is okay. I’m having it unsweetened and it is a tiny bit tart, a little floral and fruity. It tastes like what I would expect from a currant, the tea base seems pretty mellow. It just isn’t captivating me. I think I may try cold brewing the rest of this sample from Moraiwe (thank you btw) in the fridge. I can see it being really delicious that way.

The best black currant tea I had was in New Zealand by twinings but it was somehow different down there. The only one Ive found comparable up here is by harney and sons
How strange! So same tea, different location? That reminds me of Dr. Pepper. It tastes different in Texas (where it originated) than it does in any other state that I have had it. It is a little heavier and richer here and I think the other stuff is made at a non Texas location. I wonder if that is the same issue for that tea. Made in different places effecting the taste.
In Texas we have Dublin Dr Pepper which is made in Dublin,Texas and they use came sugar instead of the High Fructose Corn Syrup
