All three steepings had an even taste. All full of cocoa and malt with a slight tinge of honey. This tea is so very very good. Must drink it all! mouahhaha! ;)
Just put my daughter to bed so now its safe to bring out the gong-fu table.

It’s my favorite tea—add a top-notch Darjeeling and I’m set for life.

Had to try this one brewed stronger/hotter. The result was surprising. Very little astringancy yet strong body. Sweet almost malty like an assam. This tea just went from decent to good!
Been sipping this one all day at work. A good thermos is every tealovers friend!

I love when that happens!

Since i enjoy strong tea this cup sure is a treat. However it is even richer with water from the tetsubin, all that iron sure adds flavour. Anyone tried singbullis china varietals? Heard those are particulary nice.
This is probably the best first flush ivé tasted so far. :)

I know i promised myself to drink up my spring teas before 2014 harvest is availible. However i just realized i restocked the -13 harvest of my previously favorite Autumnflush. Just had to try it out and found it was pretty much identical to the -12 harvest.
Very classic darjeeling flacour, flowery ^^ Slight astringancy.
The Jungpana Special Autumnflush has a bit more oomph though.

wash/1:10m/2m/3m

Ah the first cup is pure bliss! Full of honey and malty sweetness. However the following cups loose that superb taste, turns more malty and less honey. Perhaps i will try with two shorter steepings. Or the recommended parameters. :)
Will be drinking a whole lot spring teas in the time to come. 2014 spring harvest is only a couple of months away!!

Hmm classic darjeeling, nothing fancy but still decent.
Was perfect as a late night cup after a long visit to the gym ^^
Rather mild flavour, will try 100C next time.

7g / 120ml Yixing pot.
wash/25s/+15 per steeping.

Clear wuyi oolong taste. Somewhat like da hong pao but a little less intense, milder with more of a floral note. But still it is highly oxidized. Lighter roast.
Nice but VERY expensive. I will stick to da hong pao i think.

Wonderfully sweet, floweryness mixed with som vegal and very slightly buttery and nutty notes.
Pure wonder just as the -12 harvest. The dry leaf is full of silver hairs. Beutiful!
My favorite non steamed green this year as well.

3.5g / 200ml glaspot
4:30m @ 100C

this is a very nice powerful cup. A little bit to much astringancy, will brew 3g @ 4m next time.
However the body has a very clean thickish sensation, the flavour is malty, full, slightly sweet.
Will have to make another cup to get all the flavours, this one went down in a jiffy with some homemade banana chocolate cake from last nights getogehter. :) Where i also managed to convince my friends to try a chai tea ^^

i also gulped this one down…then the astringency found my tongue and I needed another cup!

I always have high expectations on Arya estate teas. They seem to have a talent for producing superb teas.
The cup is bright golden and reminds me of forest honey. The smell is slightly nutty and sweet.
First sip reveals a veru clean flavourfull taste. the body is free from any dry grainyness. complex flavours, thee is some menthol/herb backed by nuttyness and a slight wellbalanced astringancy. This is by far the best second flush tea i´ve ever tasted. It is sublime! Perhaps there is some notes reminding me of applepeel. The aftertaste lingers without dry notes, only some sweet applepeel and astringancy.
WOW my whole mouth feels refreshed!
