Tonight I wanted to smell this tea more than getting that brisk get-up and go, so only steeped a scant 3 min. I have found it can easily go 4 to 5 min with no ruinous bitterness. This tea makes me happy. If you can handle the caffeine in black tea in the evening, the sweet yet completely sugar-free flavor will float you away on creamy, cakey aromas. A great way to satisfy late night sweet tooth cravings and the perfumy bergamot soothes me in its constancy. It is nice to have a go-to tea.

I don’t know if steepster is being wonky or what, but I got an email saying I got a comment from you though now I can’t find it. I wanted to let you know that I’m not sure why I am being so persistant about that darn bergamont, but I do find myself trying it over and over again! It’s like I want to like it but I just haven’t found that tea yet that really wins me over. I do love cheesecake but I haven’t got any of this tea and it’s not in the permanent collection or I’d probably order some. I’ll have to try the Aged Earl Grey as well that does sound like it’d be an interesting one. I’ve got an Earl Grey Lavander coming in a sample box I ordered from someone – she thought I might like the way the lavander plays in with the bergamont so we shall see! I’m on a strange bergamont journey…
