129 Tasting Notes
OMG!!!
If all of Butiki’s teas are this good….
Sigh (Imma gonna be broke alla the time…lol)
Creamy, buttery & smooth as silk.
This truly amazing tea is strong enough to stand alone.
I need no cream, sugar or anything else.
I may try with the brown crystal sugar next time
just to see if it can make it taste creamier as some have said, BUT
it truly NEEDS nothing…genius brew here <3
I am going to have to order a couple of ounces after Thanksgiving.
(A MUST HAVE FOR THE CHRISTMAS SEASON)
Thank you, Stacy @ Butiki Teas…WOW!!!
It is…definitely a must try …and then a must buy…hahaha
I only got 1/2 ounce because I just wasn’t sure…
Well, now I am sure I could go through about 6 ounces for the
holiday season, but I can not afford to order that much…lol…
This is one of my favorite flavored teas. Now that I read your post, I’m going to go fix myself a cup!
You are right! Hey, I noticed you are a retired RN. I still work part-time as an RN. Can’t wait to be retired like you, but have 3 kids in college!
LOL…good for you helping them.
Last year I had cancer in my spine and broke two vertebre.
It damaged the remainder of my spine and many other bones :-(
My doctor made me stop working :-(
Oh my goodness. Not a good way to retire! That’s another thing we have in common-cancer (2 different types). In my case, both very treatable. Wishing you complete recovery and healing!
Mmmmm….this tea has a mildly earthy& very light grassy base to me
and the apricot is subtle, but really enhances it.
The brown crystal sugar does give the apricot flavoring more depth.
This is something I need to order more of ASAP…FYI, if you have not
yet tasted this, don’t bother with a sample…Just order …
If you like apricot, you will love this tea.
I would never have guessed it got better as it cooled :-)
Go figure…I sucked it down too fast the first time…lol…
Grinning like a donkey eating thistle the entire time.
Drinking it slightly cool really amplifies the apricot & that is sooooo GOOD!
Drinking a Twinings Chamomile with vanilla and wishing I am drinking this.
The chamomile with vanilla is not bad, mind you, but I am dreaming of
another Butiki order with AT LEAST an ounce of this in the very near future…
Butiki, I hear you calling my name ;-)
The honeybush base is lovely, and cinnamon managed to made a pleasant introduction.
But, The pumpkin was slightly weak under an overpowering ginger flavor.
More pumpkin, PLEASE!
The cheescake flavor was very strong and tasted even creamier with eggnog latte creamer.
Matter of fact, I think I may need more of this tea to make it through the season….
Onto the shopping list for this one.
Creamy, yummy, and so much fun…I will be dreaming the Sugarplum Fairy Dance tonight.
Mmmmm…mmmmm…..sweet, with a touch of whimsy & and enough spice to give it some kick !
Hi, I would have pm’ed you but I couldn’t because you aren’t following me, so I’ll write it here instead. Forgive me if it makes me sound irritating; that is not my intention. When you encounter spam on the discussion boards (or elsewhere on the site for that matter) the best thing you can do is send an email to Jason with the link (jason at steepster dot com) and then he’ll have it deleted as soon as possible. It’s best not to reply to it, because if you do it can mess up your notices page after the thread is deleted, so that it refuses to load properly and will tell you that you have unread notifications but won’t show them to you. I’ve found that really frustrating when it’s happened to me in the past. I’ve reported the post in question to him now, and it usually doesn’t take long for him to take care of it. :)
I am sorry…
I tried to find the link to report it, but couldn’t get it to work right.
As I said, I am sorry.
It is so frustrating to see those trolls come on here with filth.
No need to apologise. I’m not saying it to tell you off, I just wanted to say it so that you would know why if your notices page starts acting up and so that some other time you can spare yourself the annoyance of it.
The report links are pretty stupid at the moment. I tend to prefer emailing jason.
Yum! I love this!
No fake flavorings….reminds me of blueberry jam, blueberry muffins, poptarts, etc…
Just really good wholesome sweet flavor, perfectly balanced and refreshing.
This is going to become a new staple for me…nice for EVERY season <3
i enjoy this one as well…. must be careful because of the stevia (makes me ill-ish) =0( still a lovely blend!
Personally, I think this tastes like blueberry juice and smells like blueberry jam. Both very pleasant.
Thank you Whiskey Buzz,
This is no ordinary Earl Grey.
LOVE the creaminess of this and Earl Grey
Has been one of my favorites for 30 years.
Smooth, creamy, and a taste of Heaven.
I have a friend who considers himself a huge Earl Grey fan, and when I bought him a small pouch of this a few months back, he told me that I’d “ruined” his enjoyment of all the other Earl Grey’s he’d ever tried in his life. It’s definitely a keeper!
Hahaha I can totally see why that is MissB! I had a friend over and she had 4 tea POTS of the cream of earl grey, she’s forever ruined too!
I steeped this for 3 minutes and found it light & pleasant.
I think I will steep it the entire five minutes next time.
After that, I will try it cold.
I love cold peach tea, but I taste the lychee slightly more than than the peach.
Thank you, Scribbles, for passing this on to me :-)
It is refreshing to me, and I love the aftertaste.
Thank you, Queen of Tarts, for sharing this with me.
I LOVE this tea !
Lovely green base with the flavor of bananas & coconut.
I love coconut, bananas not so much.
I cannot explain my love of this tea,but it is definitely a new fave of mine…very smooth!
Preparation
There is no gaiyusa in this tea , that I am aware of.
Input mistake that I am not currently able to correct.
I don’t have a list of ingredients, but I believe I taste:
HEAVEN first and foremost, lol…
Supposedly a tea to boost the immune system, but
I am drinking it for the flavor.
In addition, I believe, I taste fennel, cinnamon bark, clove,
echinacea, coriander, elderberries, and possibly a hint of lemon.
I, however, steeped 1 tablespoon in 10oz water…
I like a bold flavor and the recipe for this herbal tea is to die for ♡
