99 Tasting Notes
This is one of, if not, my favorite green tea. [Yes, the picture says White Tea, but I’m going to go with the name . :)] It doesn’t have any funky business going on, and is great with a stick of cinnamon, or a candy cane stuck in there. Some people may think that’s sacrilegious, and I’m sorry, but it’s yummy.
I’m not a huge fan of peach, but I’ve always had a soft spot for ginger, so I decided to give this unique combination a try. The sweet, smooth peach balances the sharp, hot ginger quite well! My father is a lover of peach, but didn’t like this. So maybe a ginger fascination must preclude a ginger peach iced tea fascination. Anyway, there’s more for me!
I bought this on a whim as I didn’t have any particularly lavender teas. It’s become a household favorite. I like it on occasion. It’s more floral than a jasmine tea would be, and for some it can be overpowering. I was oblivious to the vanilla notes until reading the reviews here. I don’t like citrus bergamot, but lavender bergamot is pretty good!
Flavors: Bergamot, Lavender, Vanilla
The cinnamon is strong with this one, so I use about half the amount I think I should. Then I can use that for a couple of cups. It’s a superb chai, and the cinnamon can be very spicy. Much love! If you don’t like cinnamon in great abundance, then this is obviously not the tea for you. ;P
Flavors: Cinnamon
[Note: I have the bagged version, but am lazy.] I love both green and black tea, so it’s probably expected I like them together. It’s not the highest quality green tea out there, so it can carry that fishy-taste, especially if you brew it like black tea. Treat it nicely, it’ll be nice back. I love to toss in a cinnamon stick while I wait for the water to cool a bit. It elevates it, hides any aftertastes, etc.
