Before adding water noted the Dark blue-green leaves and bits of flowers. At first sip was surprised to find the floral taste weakened the usual bitterness of black tea, tasting dry, but not over sweet like some floral teas will. This taste was good to the bottom of the cup. On second steep, the same effect was not possible the tea became too weak to create the same taste or color.
