At first I didn’t like this. Too woodsey, grassey. I resteeped it 3 times and enjoyed each infusion a little more. Not sure this will become part of my cupboard.

The effect that resteeping has on oolongs is, in my opinion, their best quality. Of course, it has to end somewhere good. And I guess that starting somewhere good is helpful, too, hee.

Looking for a warming cup to start my day. With milk and sweetner. Good! Not overpowering.

I just received this from Adagio yesterday. Think I’ll keep it around as a staple flavored Black Tea.

Never thought about adding milk to a fruit tea, but it sounds tasty.

I got this as part of a black tea sampler. Hardly!! It’s Chai.

Although I’m not a fan of herbal teas I like this quite a bit with lot’s of milk and sugar.

This is the fourth steep of this pot. I added 6 or seven leaves of Lapsang Souchong and was was very pleasantly surprised. I think that Russian Caravan tea will be making it’s way into my EBT in the future.

drank Golden Yunnan by Adagio Teas
19 tasting notes

Black tea from the Yunnan region of China. Yunnan tea is easily identified by its luscious soft leaves, and a unique peppery taste. Our ‘Yunnan Gold’ as the name implies is an exceptional quality tea with beautiful gold-colored leaves and an abundance of rich peppery flavor. Allowed to take only one tea to a desert island, ‘Yunnan Gold’ would be our clear choice.

This is a new tea from Adagio. I really like it. The description above is from their Yunnan Gold and works for now.
