7 Tasting Notes
This rating is influenced by personal taste. It’s a really great, orange-y, juicy tea but I’m not the biggest fan of that flavor. Likely very good iced, so it has potential, but I would also probably prefer other flavors more for that as well.
Flavors: Orange
Preparation
I had about two sample’s worth of this tea and the verdict is still slightly out. 2tsp in 12oz produced a tea that seemed quite weak, but perhaps that was an off brew because using the rest (possibly about 3tsp) in 12oz water with a teaspoon of agave has made an extremely potent and strong flavor that gives me the impression it would be amazing iced. I would definitely drink this one again as I definitely like the flavor and simply need to get the combination right.
Flavors: Rhubarb, Strawberry
Preparation
This tea has a strong, but gentle flavor. It isn’t bitter, but there’s a distinct bite of spice that welcomes you with every sip. I’ll be buying more as this is a very enjoyable tea.
Preparation
Really wasn’t expecting the robust flavor this tea has but could immediately taste it from the very first sip. It has a warm depth to it that would naturally compliment autumn, a rainy day, or a late night. I’m impressed and will be buying more as my sample only has enough for two cups.
Flavors: Spices
Preparation
Great smell, but even with some agave the flavor is a touch weak for me. There’s a nice, gentle quality to it, but once I run out I might not pick it up again if I have an option with a bit more kick to it. Despite all that, I will enjoy drinking the rest.
