120 Tasting Notes
After completely enjoying Tazo’s Organic Chai, I am disappointed. I guess my expectation was deep and bold flavor but like many others, I found it was highly astringent and bitter. However, I saw that someone gave it an ultra short steep and got better results, I will try that, but I am not very hopeful. Like another note I saw recently, I agree that this brand has so much potential but seems more concerned with marketing than taste.
Had to do a double take, this is some black tea for sure, thought I mixed up with my coffee stash during the morning haze…the depth of flavor is amazing, rich, full bodied, and hearty. Seems like a comfort tea to me, might pair well a variety of fried foods and gravy…
Oh my, hunger is affecting my note!
Last of the free samples from Joy’s Teaspoon, thanks again and now I will have to make some decisions about what to order!
Many different flavors in this green, the flowers and fruit are front row, the Jasmine is subtle but there. As with all the samples, pure Joy.
Free samples from Joy’s Teaspoon arrived today! Snow on the ground, another cold evening.
Perfect conditions to try Winter Wonderland. Anise is up front, love the balance of the black tea and spice. Makes me wish Winter will hang on for a while. Come on groundhog! Don’t let me down. Thanks Joy for a great cup tonight.
