150 Tasting Notes
I wanted a robust blend today. I had this as a tea latte with stevia. I brewed it a bit stronger than normal to allow for a good quantity of milk to be added. Cloves, spices, delicious!
Flavors: Cinnamon, Cloves, Orange Zest, Vanilla

Hmmm… so this wasn’t what I was expecting? I don’t know and words cannot describe yet what I feel about this tea… I was expecting it to be a bit more rich maybe? Decadent? When I smell it, I feel like it’s overpowering, but not in the overpowering way you smell a jar of cinnamon… there’s a harshness with it as well. It looks like someone scooped some dirt from Mars and said this is tea… and right now I am feeling like it doesn’t taste much better.
I tried it straight and then put some cream in it, and then added some milk. I don’t have a lot of experience with mate so I think the earthy taste I am smelling and tasting is the mate, but there is so much cinnamon. I feel like aliens from Mars are going to come down and tell me to drink this drink from their homeland because it looks equally as murky brewed. Any one have any suggestions on brewing this one? I didn’t have sugar in it either…
Well I guess I have 250g to play with and we’ll see where it takes me… heh opens gap between ring finger and middle finger like Spoc
Flavors: Chocolate, Cinnamon, Earth

This tea and Forever Nuts are very similar, however Sleigh Ride has hibiscus in it. I ordered this on web special and drink it chilled for the most part. I like the flavour but I find the huge chunks of cinnamon(which are not advertised in the picture) to be a bit cheeky for purchasing. My 250g had about 20 “hunks” of cinnamon stick in it and I’m totally going to weigh the cinnamon and see how much it came up to!
That being said, I do like this tea a lot and it was a no brainer when it came up for sale to purchase it. Iced, it is delicious!

Wow – hello spiffy changed Steepster. I decided to drink this in the morning. I have the late shift today and needed something that felt homey and comforting. This was the choice. Served with cream and stevia!
Preparation
I am still feeling sick today. Medication and its side effects. I spent about an hour and a half at 3 am examining the contents of my stomach in the toilet. This morning I didn’t want to drink anything, but I threw a couple hunks of fresh ginger into boiling water to help settle that empty sore feeling. It worked alright, but I want that ginger drink mix that they sell at Asian markets instead. All I feel is green :(
I was feeling a little bit nauseous this morning and reached for this tea. Still not feeling great, but it did help settle a little bit by getting something in my stomach. I didn’t even finish my cup, which normally I do. When my boyfriend comes into my office and I have this tea, he always asks if I am eating toast or popcorn. To sum it up, it’s toasty ;)
I steeped this for far too long this morning, causing it to be a little strong for my liking.

Another Christmas present from my father-in-law this time.
This was a stocking stuffer and I wasn’t expecting much from it. It reminds me of Tetley or another Orange Pekoe. Simple to brew and seemed pretty forgiving with steep times. I enjoyed it as usual though I feel like for these stronger blends, it’s better to use real sugar rather than stevia. Not sure why?
