Yawwwnnnnn boy did this make for an unremarkable cup of tea. I had this at the hair salon, and was actually expecting to get served a cup of plain green tea. Kinda disappointed to taste the mint.

While I do like mint teas, something about this was just ‘meh’. Now I’ve had Moroccan mint tea, and I just can’t picture this blend with sugar in it as the description suggests. It’s not really much better than some of the shlock you can find at the grocery store. I do think Zhena’s has some good teas, but I am ambivalent about this one. Maybe it was oversteeped.

Good, but not fantastic. It is soothing, but if you dare steep it over 3 minutes it turns bitter.

For a store bought tea this one is pretty darn good. Soothing and crisp & refreshing. I saw someone mention stevia on a previous note but I can’t find that as a listed ingredient and I sure don’t taste it. If you love peppermint tea, another good one to try is Casablanca Twist from Adagio.

I’m usually skeptical about bagged teas. Zhena’s teas are usually fairly decent, though. So I can make an exception to try them. My wife purchased these for $4 at a second hand retail store, and thought I’d might like something different. She knows that I’m usually pretty content with Zhena’s brand, so she needn’t worry about me denying her purchase. Ha-ha.

Anyway, the tea is pretty minty. I just got a cold, so it was soothing on the back of the throat, and it gave me a chance to breathe a little. My students are all getting over or starting to get colds, so there’s plenty of germs floating about, and are now making me sick. I suppose I should look into drinking more Green and White teas. And I figured I’d start with this one today.

The Ambrosia Plum is actually not a bad White and Green blend either. That is if the bags are fresh.

It is quite good when fresh!

Good, especially for a bagged tea. I’d say this is on the better end of the spectrum of bagged mint green teas.

Refreshing; a good cheaper go to for mint. The green tea blends in well as a grassy background. Sometimes, I wish that this tea was purely herbal because the mint helps me relax enough for sleep, but the caffeine keeps me up.

There may be an ingredient in this tea that loses it quite a bit of points. That ingredient might be licorice root which takes away from the mint.

This is the last remains of a sampler gift set. It tastes like a mint blend with a lingering bitter aftertaste. No actual green tea flavor. If the stevia is supposed to sweeten, it’s not working. It’s … okay, not amazing. I can’t think of any situation where I would actually /want/ a caffeinated mint tea instead of a legit black or green, and if I wanted a sweetener I’d rather add it myself.

Don’t take it personally, Zhena’s, your other teas are very nice.

EDIT: Another reviewer suggested putting a tea bag in a bottle of cold water. I can see that possibly working.
