Our 2019 Tiltshift is an extremely bud heavy picking of yueguangbai, which is a shade dried white tea from Yunnan province. This is a light and easy to drink white tea with a smooth body and sweet aftertaste. The aroma is soft and inviting, as is the tea.
Each cake is 200 grams.

Steeped up earlier in the week following a morning where I just woke up with the strongest white tea craving. It’s such a beautiful cake with all the pressed together plump, fuzzy little buds! I had a whole pile of mini dragonball versions of this tea that I brewed though first, so this is actually my first time cracking into the cake – it feels like there’s been this unspoken anticipation of having the cake sitting and waiting as a reward for when I eventually sipped down the minis. As expected, it’s deliciously soft and silky with the same array of fresh, creamy cucumber pulp and green melon notes that I remember accompanying an overarching gentle sweetness. Tastes kind of what I imagine the colour silver might taste like, if that makes sense. Really, really smooth sipping!
