Extra rich flavor. A Tung-Ting style Oolong, oxidized at approximately 18 percent to retain a greener character. Very sweet and aromatic, this is the style of Oolong that is favored by Taiwan tea connoisseurs.

Really nice and smooth. Not higher rated because the more complex flavors faded fast(ish) after 2-3 steeps, and what was left was a bit more vegetable than I’d want. Though sweet and, really, quite tasty.
Another sipdown. This one was my favorite of the teas in the Upton oolong sampler. It has a light pleasant honey flavor. I certainly wouldn’t mind having more, but at the same time, I’ve found other oolongs I like better, such as David’s vanilla orchid. However, if you’re never had a formosa oolong and want to try some, this would be a great tea to start with.
