The essence of childhood summer memories. The nostalgic flavor of pink lemonade is combined with the healthful properties and crisp, clean flavors of China green tea. Nice on Ice.

I bought a RTD plastic bottle of this at the grocery store.

Ugh.

It tastes like neither pink lemonade nor green tea.
It is unsweetened – who drinks unsweetened pink lemonade??
There’s a strange peppery/spicy aftertaste, which I guess is coming from the lemongrass (even though lemongrass is neither peppery nor spicy…)

WHY do so many food/bev companies think that lemon and lemongrass are interchangeable, and use lemongrass to impart the flavor of lemon ? As someone who loves lemons but rather dislikes lemongrass, I resent this practice.

I assume the actual teabags are better. Avoid the bottled tea!

I really like this tea! It has a nice, fresh lemon scent dry, and it smells fantastic and even more lemony while steeping.

It’s good with or without sweetener, but I find that a few drops of honey really brighten up the flavor of this tea. Pre-honey, it has a pleasant lightly lemony green tea flavor, post-honey, it tastes like a mellow pink lemonade, and the flavor blends well with the green tea, rather than covering it up. In fact, I think pink lemonade + iced green tea would be a pretty awesome combo, especially after drinking this!

This is one of my favorite lemon flavored teas. :)

hot lemon juice burns my throat. Does it taste anything like that?

Its like green tea with lemon in it. I can imagine it would be better over ice.

I have decided that I like this tea regardless of the fact that I’ve never tasted it. I like it on principle because I like the cause it supports, and Iike you for having tried it. Cheers!

Then where does the pink come in? I understand the connection to breast cancer, but it should taste like pink lemonade too:)

Just bought this tea today. Actually was looking for ROT’s Pink Lady, but did not see it at the 1 local store I know that carries this brand.

Pros: Light. Unassuming. Not heavily Lemony.
Cons: Too light. needed to much sugar to sweeten it.

Given the price, I plan on trying this flavor with different steep times to see if that changes my assessment of it. If I don’t discover a better steep time, then the rest I will use for making iced tea, and won’t buy it again.

Brew it really strong, sweeten it when it’s hot, and drink it over ice. Delicious!
