The first time I had this, I let it steep WAAAAAAAAAAAAY to long and it was like sucking on a car air freshener. The second time, I only steeped it about a minute, but the cherry flavor was still a little too much for me.

Rena Sherwood

I have to ask — have you ever sucked on a car air freshener?

HungryForTea

LOL no. The tea just had that strong and overpowering flavor like the scent of a freshly opened air freshener. It was just too much.

I didn’t care for this tea. The taste was a general “fruitiness”, not cherry specifically. Also, it was quite sweet and I occasionally got a bitter taste (maybe overheated the water?). All in all, I wouldn’t re-order.

it’s been a long time since I’ve logged, but here we go!
In contrast to other tea notes about this cherry white tea, I found it to be very light in taste. I was hoping for more cherry taste. It’s barely there, and fades quick. Smells nice. But the tea isn’t even red so how much cherry can there be?
Disappointing tea note from me for this Cherry Charity tea (sip for the cure) but I recommend trying the Sip For The Cure Pomegranate Vanilla Red Tea.

Another tea that I thought I’d probably dislike- but I’d never tried cherry in tea, and again, we had individual tea bags at school, so I nabbed one. It’s actually not bad. White tea disappears when flavor is added, and this smells a lot more strongly of cherry than it tastes. The smell seems to even contain hints of vanilla, but the tea itself is mild-cherry, not sweet at all, but not bitter. I accidentally left the tea bag in the travel mug (got distracted), so it was probably in there for 30 minutes- I actually didn’t think it was gross.
I’d never have taken a chance and bought this- particular since I think RoT teas are overpriced (sad, because I love some of them). I’m glad I got to try it though.

Bold cherry taste with white tea supporting it. Not too shabby actually.
