From The Jade Leaf

Shan Cha is a black tea made exclusively from Taiwan’s indigenous tea variety. This wild tea variety differs genetically from any other tea on earth. It is a very rare and special tea with a unique flavor profile. This tea can be made into an outstanding black tea with a distinctive flavor profile which is fruity with undertones of fresh grain. This indigenous tea plant has been crossed with other varieties to produce exceptional hybrids such as Red Jade #18 and Hong Yun #21. Both of these get the fruity attributes from their Shan Cha genetics.

The only new thing I have to say about this elegant, peachy, plummy Taiwanese beauty is that it is strong enough to conceal the flavor of a house spider that somehow made its way to the bottom of the cup…yep, I drank the whole thing and
(everybody sing):

I know an old lady who (almost) swallowed a spider…

ashmanra

At least he went out with a very fine tea?

derk

The burning questions is why did you swallow the fly?

gmathis

I don’t know why…

Kelmishka

Yiiiiikes! Refraining from “singing” the next line… :D

gmathis

…well, I woke up this morning!
