Apparently I had forgotten how ambivilant I was about this tea. I took it because it has such a lovely strong berry smell. Admittedly, I did drink it after a cup of the Chocolate Peppermint Rooibos, but all I got was vanilla. ALL I got was vanilla, no berries, no anise, nothing fun. I am willing to try this again and make sure that I am still not crazy but about the flavour, but what a let down after the awesome smelling leaves!!

It is all right, but smells better than it tastes. In store it was excellent, but unlike other Teavana teas, at home it just does not do as well. It is nice and sweet, very seasonal, but not strong enough. I do not recommend.

Why are there no berry or berrylike ingredients in Winter Berry Spice? I am a bit confused. It seems to imply that the berry facet is created only by the artificial flavorings, which I find unfortunate.

This foody infusion is okay for a foody infusion.

It does not have a particularly strong aroma, so I am very surprised by how incredibly sweet and fruity it is! I can definitely taste the pineapple and papaya, and the fact that they are candied, add an incredibly sweetness to the tea that is just the perfect amount. This fruitiness is not tangy at all, and it is softened by the cinnamon and a very subtle note of star anise.

Overall, it’s really great, not what I expected it to be at all. There’s a lot going on in this tea, and you could never tell by just it’s aroma!

Beautiful tea in the tin and in the cup. It is a very warm berry flavor, with undertones of vanilla and cream. I love this one. I like it a bit stronger than suggested and I brew it a minute more as well.
