Day #19 is a unique herbal blend! It’s a festive blend to look at with huge star anise pieces. I just wish I had seen any strawberry pieces in the blend, like I do on the website. I made sure to put one full star anise, a big piece of cinnamon stick, and a teaspoon of the rest of the goodies in my infuser. The main notes here are star anise and hibiscus, but to be fair, there is more anise than hibiscus. It’s odd to me that cinnamon sticks never seem to impart much flavor to any blend I find them in. I would have liked this blend more with a better balance of the flavors — more berry, less hibiscus. It isn’t overwhelming hibiscus anyway. Not enough of the flavors I’d like to taste here!
