I’ve seen this called a coffee drinkers tea, and I have to agree. It is chocolately and dark and tastes like coffee…but also tea. It’s a little weird and I admit I was afraid to try it at first, but I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it is.

I absolutely love this tea! It’s so delicious and a great coffee subsitute. I usually bend mine with teavana’s Morracan Mint, reminds me of a York peppermint patty!

Drinking without the vanilla soy milk, because I ran out. :( This tea is perfect for my late night work session, in which I’ll finish all my end of semester work due tomorrow for grad school!

I have been enjoying this as my afternoon tea this week. The smell is wonderful. It smells like coffee as hinted to by the name. The taste is somewhat malty, somewhat coffee and somewhat chocolate. I made the mistake of drinking this following one of my favorite flavored Asam teas. This doesn’t do so well in comparison, but it is still enjoyable.

This is an okay tea. I probably will not order it again. The taste was not what I was expecting. The chocolate in this tea is a little to strong for me.
1 tsp per 8oz of water.

For all of you coffee drinkers out there (and I would include myself in this group) this will be right up your alley. There apparently is no coffee beans in here, but it does manage to get that coffee taste from roasting the maté leaves and flavorings. Then they add in a bit of cocoa, to deepen the flavor profile.

It’s a really great morning tea, but I find that when if you’re going to drink it straight, it’s best hot. It get really gross when it cools off. But this is a really great tea to blend and add things to. Have fun!

The good thing is it tastes like chocolate coffee. The bad thing is it tastes like chocolate coffee. Good as a novelty or if you are entertaining someone who prefers something other than regular teas.

Very chocolate, like those 85% cacao dark chocolate bars. The mate gives it a quirky little zing, sort of grassy, sort of medicinal, making me think of angelica or juniper. Not sure why I’ve turned into a bit of a snob about Teavana teas. This is actually one of the better mate teas I’ve tried.

I have done lots of Mate teas and this one just didn’t do it for me – I like a lot of Teavana teas but this one didn’t do it I was very disappointed with this - It doesn’t have enough of mate -
I don’t like Teavana other mates either -They all have some flavor like raspberry lemonade - when open them up they smell terrific but they don’t taste very strong — It takes alot of the tea to make tea or iced tea - I think that flavor mix sounds great but is over whelming - I am hope they change the formula for them
This doesn’t have a good kick either - I have tried making it very strong and nothing - very disappointed and my search will continue for Java mate teas —

Nice tea/coffee type of drink, good for breakfast but kind of harsh after noon time. The smell is wonderful before and after brewing and you can use boiling water so that speeds the process a bit.
