From Tealish

Organic white tea blended with pure peach and tangerine essence. Sprinklings of osmanthus and jasmine flowers add a slight floral hint to the succulent sweetness of this lovely peach white tea. A delicate liquor with lasting flavour.

I’ve really enjoyed this the couple times I’ve made it, but yesterday I had a friend over for some New Year’s Day laziness and made several cups of tea for us, including three infusions of this one. I was shocked by how well it held up in re-steepings! The bubbly, soft, juicy qualities of the base and the peach and tangerine flavours just kept giving. Delicious, and bumping the rating a little!

I had afternoon tea on New Year’s Eve at a place that included a glass of one of their jasmine-fruity whites made into sparkling tea. I love that idea, and I think this one would be amazing that way. It already makes me think of champagne.

After my fail with the Peach Apple Crisp, still searching for crisp and refreshing peach I went for this one. It delivered.

Peach and jasmine must make really good friends because this is the second time I get jasmine in a peach tea. In this tea they make a good pair, they take turns on your palate. usually jasmine is the predominant taste for me when blended with anything else, anything at all. (Unless of corse it’s cloves or ginger, but why put that in a jasmine tea?)

The dry leaf is quite… leafy! there is the white tea leaves but also some other dry leaves, looks like broken up bay leaves, because of their size — of course they are not bay leaves but if you see this you’ll know what i mean. Looks like someone took tea, crushed up some dried rosebush leaves or something, and just mixed it together.

Not much smell on the dry leaf, just smells like dry grass. Beautiful clear yellow brew, peachy goodness when iced.

This tea was enjoyed courtesy of Dexter3657 . Thank you!

I’ll admit it, I don’t drink much white tea. I don’t think you get the bang for your buck. It’s usually pretty pricy and not much flavor. At least that’s what I used to think…….I really need to explore a tea before making general assumption based on one or two examples.

I LOVE this. This was exactly what I needed tonight. It’s light and refreshing, and is just oooooozes with peachy goodness. I was worried about peach not coming through in a tea. This is PEACH, no doubt about it. No fake candy, just sweet juicy peaches. Two thumbs up!!

Thank you scribbles for so generously including a sample (BIG SAMPLE) of this in my swap box. :))))

I was so very sad… when I could not even finish my cup of this. More than half of it went into the bin. What a waste of money, and tea :(
The girl used nearly boiling water so I’m sure the leaves were burnt… but I doubt that could be responsible for the lack of any peach flavour whatsoever! All I got was Jasmine and white. So not my cuppa tea.
The way this was prepared, I have very few nice things to say about it so I’ll stop here before I get crass! goes to brush teeth!

Kittenna

That’s disappointing :( Golden Peach sounds so appetizing, too.

Mmmm peaches. Few things in life leave me happier. After I’ve had a tall glass of this, I feel like I just ate a big juicy peach, which is exactly what I wanted. It’s fruity and juicy and tastes like, well, a peach! Yum, yum, yum. This is my first iced tea and will be making many, many more. I’m going to go put on a sundress, pour myself another glass, and pretend it’s summer.

For this, I used 3 tsp of leaves in my 1.5 L teapot and steeped for 30 seconds, and then added probably another 1 L of cold water to fill the jug and then put it in the fridge. Next time I’ll probably boil more water and resteep the leaves for the second L, but it’s still flavorful and yet delicate. Yum.
