A bold tea, one that brews up quickly and has little distinguishing notes to it other than it’s faintly creamy, smells vaguely like an orange pekoe, and has a few notes of something sweet in it that I’m struggling to place. Honey, perhaps? Maybe a honeyed fruit? Wish I knew more about this tea prior to drinking it, as that would likely help my enjoyment. Off to investigate! :)

EDIT: Bah. This is a tricky one to find online. Does anyone have a URL for the company?

Thank you OMGsrlsy for sharing this with me! :)

is this just windsor-csatle tea?

OMGsrsly

Tea Time has no website or online presence. The description is as much information as I have.

MissB

Yea, there are two entries for it. OMGsrlsy: good to know. Are they local?

yyz

This might be it if it’s in Vancouver http://nvteatime.yolasite.com

OMGsrsly

yyz, your google-fu is AMAZING. I’ve looked on and off for months for more information on this company.

Yes, MissB. They are on Lonsdale in North Van. They carry some Mountain Rose Herbs blends, which is super exciting for me.

I haven’t had a kick-in-the-pants assam for a while.

This is that tea.

So good. So assam-y. Tasty with cranberry honey and almond milk.

I’ll need to try it plain at some point, but wow. Strong teas to have at breakfast err, brunch. I’ve MISSED you.

The additives sound wonderful!

OMGsrsly

This is a super fruity assam. I have plum jelly in the fridge that would be fantastic in it too. :)

TheTeaFairy

Oh, never heard of cranberry honey, sounds interesting…

OMGsrsly

Muahahaha.

I have both kinds. The one with cranberries in it is better with fruit teas, and I also recommend putting it into the basket so you don’t have floaties. :)

Courtney

Oh cranberry honey.
