Rooibos tea with lemongrass, orange granulate and flavors.
A flavorful alternative for those seeking a stimulant free beverage.
The plant known as rooibos (Afrikaans for „red bush“) is a member of the legume family. The only place it grows is in the Cederberg region of South Africa. There twigs are usually harvested using a sickle, then finely chopped, pressed and humidified. This improves the process of oxidation, at the end of which the popular rooibos tea – also known as bush tea or redbush tea – has gained its attractive, reddish brown colour and fruity aroma.
Rooibos has many of the same health benefits of green and white teas while lacking the negative caffeine and tannins associated with those teas. It contains extremely high levels of antioxidants, powerful substances that fight free radicals in the bloodstream and keep bodies healthy and strong.
